Caterpillar Logistics
Project Summary
Caterpillar Logistics
Caterpillar Logistics hired Darland to design-build their 210,000 square foot distribution center in Omaha. The building structure is a pre-engineered Butler system with an MR-24 standing seam roof. The 8-foot concrete wainscot around the building perimeter was economically achieved by placing 25-foot long precast wall panels horizontally. Darland's construction team went up against an unusually harsh winter during the build. Despite the weather, the building was completed on time and within budget.
Holland Basham Architects provided all architectural and engineering services.
