Darland was selected to oversee construction on 'Building O' in the Village Pointe shopping center located along the West Dodge Road corridor in Omaha. The 80-acre development was designed as a lifestyle shopping center with upscale restaurants, retailers and boutique shops that replicate a nostalgic main street shopping district. 

Construction on Village Pointe presented several challenges as the new building was built in between two existing structures during a busy holiday shopping season. Darland worked to ensure the safety of shoppers by keeping construction areas clean and confining construction to a tight, 10-foot zone around the building.

Tenants of Building O included major retailers like Coach, J. Crew and Apple.
