Darland worked alongside Holland Basham Architects to design and build a new space for American Title Inc. as they merged two office locations in Omaha. Effective preconstruction techniques, value engineering, design assistance and a collaborative approach set Darland apart from other builders. American Title aimed to create a space that provided a first-class working environment for employees, but was also functional and practical. Darland worked with HBA to ensure the client's requests remained a top priority. The team added several components including a backup generator to ensure there would be no interruptions to company operations and 20,000 square feet of raised flooring for easy access to data cabling. For employee comfort, the design featured upgrades to the heating and cooling systems, indirect lighting and noise reduction systems.
